Sidewalk Replacement Program
The City of Sioux Center continues to offer assistance with the cost of replacing deteriorating sidewalks. The cost share, designed to cover the cost of concrete, is $2.50 per square foot. Sioux Center's municipal utilities offer energy efficiency programs through Bright Energy Solutions. These programs provide cash incentives and help residential and business customers reduce their electric and gas costs and operate more efficiently.

This monthly non-promotional ecommunication is geared to our residential customer and focuses on ways that homeowners can improve energy efficiency and save money. Bright Energy Choices
Through Bright Energy Choices, people can increase their renewable energy percentage to 100 percent. Sioux Center's power supply already includes 44% renewable energy from hydro, wind and solar facilities. If people choose to participate in Bright Energy Choices, our energy partner Missouri River Energy Services will purchase renewable energy credits on their behalf, allowing them to effectively be 100% renewable.
Energy TraK is an energy-management tool for the medium-to-large industrial or commercial customer. With a meter upgrade and communication line to the meter, the Energy TraK service provides detailed, easy to read reports regarding energy consumption. All information is accessible through the Internet via a password protected account.
