The Sioux Center City Council is currently considering three proposed concepts for the future use of portions of Open Space Park, specifically the location of Heritage Village and a proposed indoor turf facility. The concepts range from having both Heritage Village and an indoor turf facility on the Open Space site to having one or the other at a different location. The three concepts were developed through conversations with the Heritage Village Board, Parks Board, Joint Use Committee, and other community members.
Community feedback was sought at an Open House on Feb. 1 and also through a feedback form in mid-February.
