Construction will begin the week of Labor Day 2022 on the intersection of 16th St. and 1st Ave. SW near Dairy Queen.
Traffic traveling east and west will be allowed through the intersection, limited to one-at-a-time, alternating traffic. The intersection will be closed to turning traffic from or on to 1st Ave.
Traffic may also take an alternate route, using the frontage road along Highway 75 to travel south to 19th Street, then back north along 1st Ave. SW to access businesses in this area. (Shown in green on the map)
Construction is anticipated to continue through November 2022.
