Located on the northeast part of the city, north of Open Space Park, Country View Park (also called Recreation Station or North Fields) offers two lighted softball fields, along with six acres of soccer fields and several sand volleyball courts. The open shelter house offers lights and outlets. There are swings and playground equipment for 2-5-year-olds and 5-12-year-olds.
A concession stand with handicapped-accessible bathrooms is available for league games and there is an ample parking lot. This park is open for public use whether you have a team or just want to practice. Cost to reserve a ball field is $50.00/field (for set up).
Country View Park also offers access to the 7-mile recreational trail that runs through the city. Take advantage of the paved trail to bike, run, walk, or rollerblade.
