Community Celebration Includes Awards & Comedian

Invitation to awards event

The community is invited to attend Spirit of Community - An Evening Celebrating Sioux Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, at the Terrace View Event Center.  The evening will feature community award winners and a keynote presentation by Tommy Ryman. Tommy Ryman, a semifinalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, is an acclaimed comedian and performs at top clubs, colleges and festivals across the nation include the Great American Comedy Festival.  

“We are very excited to host Tommy for this event.  His humor and high level of energy will be the perfect fit for an evening where we are celebrating those who have gone above and beyond in our community,” states Barb Den Herder, CEO of the Sioux Center Chamber.

Along with Tommy’s keynote address, the evening will honor this year’s community and chamber award recipients, recognize new businesses that opened or had new ownership in Sioux Center this past year, and announce Sioux Center Community Foundation grant recipients.

Tickets ($35 per guest or Table of 8 for $250) may be reserved by contacting the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce at 712-722-3457 or by email at  Tickets may also be purchased at Petals and Perks in Centre Mall. Please RSVP or purchase tickets on or before Friday, April 16, 2021.

This event is co-hosted by the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sioux Center. 

Paul Adkins will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

6:00 p.m. - Dinner Served             

6:45 p.m. - Awards Presentations

7:30 p.m. - Special Guest Tommy Ryman
