Siouxnami Waterpark Opens for Summer Fun!

Zip line at outdoor pool

Iowa’s newest waterpark is now open! Siouxnami Waterpark – complete with the state’s only aqua zip line, a lazy river, three new water slides, and a life-size floating alligator – just opened in Sioux Center.

All are invited to join for the 11 a.m. ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 26, or to come for some sun-soaked fun all summer long!

Siouxnami offers fun for all, with the lazy river, the climbing wall over the water, the aqua zip-line over the deep pool, low and high diving boards, and more. Thrill seekers can enjoy a 212-foot-long body slide, a 253-foot tube slide, and a 64-foot speed slide. There’s a teen corner, concession stand, lounge chairs in the sun and shade, and plenty of pool space to enjoy the water.

“Our goal with Siouxnami has always been to make it great for all ages, and we think we’ve done that,” said All Seasons Center director Dave Ruter. “It’s been exciting seeing kids, adults and families come to Sioux Center and experience the fun.”

Siouxnami connects with the existing outdoor and indoor pool areas at the All Seasons Center. These offer zero-depth children's pools, a slide pool with a waterfall, additional water slides, lap lanes, a hot tub, and diving boards. There are specials all week, and businesses and organizations may rent the waterpark for an evening on the weekend.

“The waterpark is a great amenity for our local citizens and a great attraction to draw people to Sioux Center,” said City Manager Scott Wynja. “We are excited about the features and unique attractions at Siouxnami. We think they’ll provide a ‘wow’ to our community and surrounding areas.”
