Spirit of Community Night to Include Awards, Entertainment

Awards Night Invitation

The community is invited to attend "Spirit of Community-An Evening Celebrating Sioux Center" on Tuesday, April 23  at the Terrace View Event Center. This event, which begins at 6 p.m. is co-hosted by the Sioux Center Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sioux Center.

The evening will feature award presentations and a keynote presentation by Billy Riggs. Riggs has been called “The Dr. Phil of Magic,” and “a psychologist masquerading as a comedian and magician.” He was voted one of America’s Top Five Most Entertaining Speakers in a 2014 nationwide poll of conference attendees. As a highly skilled orator and master magician, illusionist, and spellbinding entertainer, Riggs delivers a presentation that audiences will remember long after the event ends.

“We are very excited to host Billy for this event. He will deliver an inspirational message that will motivate the audience to reach beyond what is required and do something remarkable! His message is the perfect fit for an evening where we recognize those that have gone above and beyond in our own community, and who inspire us each in their own way,” said Barb Den Herder, Director of the Sioux Center Chamber.

Along with Billy’s keynote address, the evening will honor this year’s community and chamber award recipients, recognize new businesses that opened in Sioux Center this past year, and announce Sioux Center Community Foundation grant recipients.
