    Workshop held at Sioux Center Public Library – Sponsored by One Book One Sioux County Open Mic Reading held at the Barn at Heritage Village This hands-on, three-part memoir writing workshop will be led by Howard Schaap from Dordt’s English Department. Participants should bring along a laptop or pen and paper, so that they can write during the workshops. On October 1, participants are invited to read their work aloud to friends and family at an open mic event in the barn at Heritage Village. Ages: Adults & teens Registration is helpful, but not required.

A free meal will be provided at 6:00 pm followed by the seminars. During the seminars, STEM activities will be provided for the children.
