What is Rebuild Sioux Center?

A Department of Energy Program to help communities reduce energy use in existing commercial and multi-family buildings.

It provides technical and financial assistance, products and services, and recognition.

It requires public and private sectors work together and all actions be designed and led at the local level.

What are our Goals?

Save Money
Save Energy
Create Jobs
Protect the Environment

Example of Success

The Sioux Center Fire Station was a participant in a similar program offered for public buildings in 1995. The energy consumption was reduced by 50% and the comfort level was improved for everyone using the facility.
