Band playing in the bandshell
Contact

Sioux Center’s Recreation and Arts Council is a proud supporter of the area arts. The bandshell located in Central Park was built in 1936 as part of the Works Progress Administration under President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The bandshell hosted high school band concerts every Wednesday night until 1973. Today, a variety of concerts and events are held in the bandshell each year.
